CFGD celebrates 10 years in business

I made it! Thanks to you!

This has been a real adventure. When our children were small I realised I wasn’t being the best role model as I wasn’t following my dreams. So I quit my job in behavioural education and got studying.

It wasn’t easy.

Working night shifts while completing my degree (in which time my wife was also made redundant!), then moving to a beautiful but remote part of Devon with zero job opportunities, but a million ideas…

And it all came together.

It may sound like a cliché but when you follow your heart things just happen. Positive thinking (not always!) and setting goals. More learning. Just going out and asking to do the work you want to do.

I’ve been very lucky to have worked with some wonderful people over the last 10 years and I look forward to continuing this, in addition to making some new connections.

I’ve got some really exciting projects on the horizon, some dynamic collaborations. There is so much more I want to do. I’ve learnt so much in the last 10 years and I look forward to learning even more in the next 10.

I’m just heading off for a week of camping and kayaking with my excellent family and friends to take it all in.

When I get back, the sky’s the limit…
